What does the week look like
You will arrive during the weekend and will have time to rest and/or sight see. On Sunday we will go for a bike ride through the Golden Gate National Parks and climb Hawk Hill—electrified by VanMoof. This optional activity is followed by the Welcome Dinner in San Francisco's South of Market (SoMa) neighborhood. The program runs Monday through Friday and is designed around 4 pillar topics: Funders & Founders, The Future of Technology, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, and From Holland to the Valley. We will meet 3 or more experienced entrepreneurs, venture capital investors, and professionals every day and allow time for reflection. Each day ends when the last session concludes. The Program culminates with the Closing Reception with invited guests from the Silicon Valley community.

When is it
The travel dates for the 4th edition are Saturday, September 10th - Saturday, September 17th, 2022. The Program is scheduled in the same week as the 5th annual Summer Party, an inclusive social gathering of the Dutch-American entrepreneurial community, the program participants, and visiting entrepreneurs and investors from the Netherlands.

Who is the organizer of the Program
Your San Francisco-based host and organizer is (LinkedIn) Oliver Binkhorst. He has almost two decades of experience in the tech industry in North America, Europe, and Asia. He is an independent recruiter and advisor, and initiator of DutchTechSF; the Dutch-American entrepreneurial community in Silicon Valley. The initiative has been featured in publications large and small including, NRC Handelsblad, Financieel Dagblad, Emerce, and MT/Sprout.

What is DutchTechSF
DutchTechSF is a private networking community of Dutch-American entrepreneurs, executives, and venture capital investors, based primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our collective experience spans all aspects of growing successful companies - from the formative stage to the management of multi-billion dollar enterprises.

Eligibility & Fit
The Program is ideally suited for experienced executives, and professionals, of established enterprises and organizations or businesses. You do not need a background in STEM, but you do need to want to learn. Previous participants have come from a variety of backgrounds including entrepreneurs, family business owners, government leaders, lawyers, corporate professionals, innovation managers, investors, and individuals in transition or looking for a career change.

What’s included
Your registration includes full access to the Program, expert guide, site visits, Talks, one-day bike rental, the Welcome Dinner and Closing Reception, and limo transportation to scheduled activities as needed. Also, you will receive access to our invite-only community platform for continued opportunities for learning and connection. The community platform's membership includes more than 150 venture capital investors, entrepreneurs, and founders of established Dutch technology companies from the Netherlands and the US. Airfare and lodging are not included, but participants will receive a discounted rate at our preferred hotel, 5-stars Tripadvisor-rated Stanford Court on Nob Hill in San Francisco.

How much
If you register before June 15th, the Program fee is €5,750. After this date, the full Program fee of €6,250 applies. Registered female participants may bring up to one male team member or friend - Women+. Your participation is confirmed when payment has been received. Payment can be made via wire transfer or credit card. Please keep in mind that you need a valid ESTA visa to enter the United States.
